Last Sunday, June 1st 2008, my dad had his first paintings exposition in a local cafe in our town. For this exposition I made an invitation card and a flyer. Some impressions of that day:

During the past couple years my dad (Rob van der Blom) has (oil)painted several pieces of art. He is really fond of the painting itself and the whole creation process; from thoughts, ideas and remarkable landscapes to colors, shapes and figures on the canvas. His favourite themes are: landscapes (mountain and sea sceneries), flowers and still lives as well as more abstract ones.

His passion began in his early youth when he started sketching pencil drawings and sketches. Nevertheless, it took several decades before he devoted his  freetime again on painting and drawing.

For his upcoming painting exposition (June 1st, 2008), I designed both the flyer and the invitation card.
